Ideally what we're looking for is the "Behind the Music", hi res (300dpi)
scans of magazine covers on which Aerosmith appeared, and hi res scans of
album covers (fronts and backs).

We're also looking for any photos anyone may have (to which they own the
rights), or suggestions on anyone who may have some good photos we could
use.


If anybody has any of these things please let me know and i will be sure to get these materials over to the guys at Biography.

Was wondering if you or anyone you knew had footage of the 1984 MTV report on the Springfield, Illinois concert where Steven Tyler collapsed and fell into the audience.


if anybody knows where to get the info/video let me know.

I personally have never heard of this incident. Maybe he is thinking of the 82' show where he collapsed on stage.

My girl friend at the time bought us tickets to the 7/13/84 show in Springfield Illinois for my birthday present.Tyler is way drunk.they do one and a half songs as Tyler stumbles around trying to sing and mess with other band members.he gets a get away shove from bass player then goes to edge of the stage with mic stand and gets a hard direct hit to the back with a bass guitar,like a running sword stab.i was 20 feet away on the floor main aisle.he hit face first on the concrete floor and was out cold.security/roadies picked him up and took him back stage,the band stopped and left the stage.the curtains closed and some guy came out and stated sorry the show was over.BUT not all was lost,Black Oak Arkansas was in town at Knights Action Park doing a $5 general admission.they went from a few hundred people to a few thousand people in minutes from the Aerosmith show,they rocked till after 2am because of the size of the crowd.the next day it was announced that anyone with a ticket would receive a free Aerosmith greatest hits album but you had to drive to Springfield to receive it,that was a 2 hour drive for an album that had been out for years and i and most others already had so it was not worth the trip to spend $12 in gas for a $4.99 album so Aerosmith still owes everyone a free show in Springfield Il.
